Three Tips for Back To School

Posted by Jamie Simonsen

I know, I know. The last words you want to hear right now are back to school. Or maybe you love those words because you love school! Either way, I have a couple tips for you on how to make the transition from summer to school a lot easier!!

Tip number one 1️⃣Have a plan! Make sure you are well rested for thebig first day! First impressions are huge, and if you are not well rested, then you mightnot make the greatest one.

Tip number two 2️⃣ Make sure you are packed the night before. If you pack your lunch and pick out your outfit the night before, you can get a little extra sleep in the morning, and don't need to worry about stressing out about being late. Another thing you can do which really helps is making your breakfast the night before. I suggest overnight oats. You make it the night before and when you wake up, breakfast is already made! A recipe for this is: •1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cup (heaping) rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened milk of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Whisk together all ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Spoon into a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Close and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight before eating.

See how easy? The best part is that it is so simple to make and requires no time at all! And when you wake up, you have a breakfast that tastes like dessert!!

Tip number three 3️⃣

Have fun!! Don't stress out at all!! After these tips, you will do great!!! Good luck!
